Welcome to Back In Balance Chiropractic Clinic!

Welcome to our 5 Star Award winning office!

We are glad you are taking the time to research chiropractic and we look forward to serving you and your individual needs.  Our office is equipped with the latest in equipment and technology.  We offer state of the art treatment for a wide variety of conditions and our doctors and staff will treat you with the best possible care to get you feeling better as quickly as possible.

Within this site you may print off all of your patient forms and fill them out before you enter the office (see Patient Forms) so the doctor can begin with a thorough examination and assess your areas of concern, as well as carefully consider your health history. They are trained in x-ray techniques and in order to make an accurate diagnosis may ask x-rays of your back and neck. Only after this initial examination will they offer a recommended course of treatment. Based on the analysis of your initial examination, your treatment could consist of chiropractic adjustments, therapies, and rehabilitation.

We use a variety of techniques in our office that are designed to help get you feeling well again quickly and to keep you that way through preventative care.  Like all other health care professions, Chiropractic is founded on the premise that health is something that we all possess and our care is designed to facilitate healing.

We are thrilled to offer many different aspects of chiropractic care. Please take a moment to enjoy our website and get to know our incredible team of health professionals. Adjustment/Manipulation

Adjustments, or manipulation as they're sometimes referred to is the minor movement of vertebrae in the spine. The objective of this movement is to realign vertebrae that have moved out of place for a number of reasons ranging from normal daily activity to trauma such as a car accident.

When these vertebrae are out of place, it has an overall systemic effect from muscular to the central nervous system. Without proper alignment and flow of all nerves and systems in the body from the brain, we can't function at our peak.

An adjustment is often a pressure from the chiropractor utilizing the hands or an instrument to move a vertebrae back into place. This happens with a quick movement and is often without discomfort. You may hear a noise that sounds like you're cracking your knuckles referred to as joint cavitation. It is the release of gases such as oxygen and nitrogen from the joint.

Overall, adjustments are an excellent way to keep the body functioning at its highest level. When the body is in alignment, the body is able to respond and perform as it was designed to.

Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP)

The unique expertise applied to the management of athletic injuries by certified sports chiropractors IMPROVE PATIENT OUTCOMES.  The training and experience common to certified sports chiropractors allow FASTER AND MORE PRECISE DIAGNOSIS of problems related to EXERCISE, REPETITIVE MOTION & HIGH INTENSITY ACTIVITY.  Smarter, more targeted rehabilitation allows patients more rapid return to function and prevents recurrences.

Physical Rehabilitation

Physical Rehabilitation is used to support weak or de-conditioned muscles that are no longer providing adequate support to joints.  The use of exercise balls, balance equipment and resistance bands are beneficial in helping to restore proper stabilization and strength to an injured or painful region of the body.  The techniques we teach through our office are easy to perform at home and do not require expensive gym memberships to continue benefitting from them.

Graston Technique  (www.grastontechnique.com)

Graston Technique® is an innovative, patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. The technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation and is changing the way injuries are treated. Graston Technique® is used to prevent acute injuries from becoming chronic and is used to reverse the outcomes of conditions once thought to be permanent.

Kinesiotaping (www.kinesiotaping.com)

The Kinesio Taping Method is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It is used to successfully treat a variety of orthopedic, neuromuscular, neurological and medical conditions. Both Kinesio® Tex Tape and the training protocol have shown results that would have been unheard of using older methods and materials.
